Hello! I’m Skylar, the owner and interior decorator at Spirit Design Studio. I received my diploma in interior decorating in Calgary, Alberta and moved out to the island soon after.
Since then I have had the opportunity to work with many amazing people and help bring their spaces to life. I have worked on both residential and commercial projects and I am always happy to help in any capacity needed.

This entails working with Skylar in any capacity needed within a residential setting.
It could include but is not limited to; guidance on selections, accompanying you to stores, help managing deliveries & schedules, and producing 3D renderings to help you move forward with confidence.

We offer full scale residential and commercial interior decorating services. We also offer an ‘as-needed"‘ approach. This is for our clients who just need a second set of eyes or want a sounding board during renovations on an ‘as-needed’ basis.
We also offer staging consultations for anyone who is putting their home on the market and wants to make sure it is presented in a pleasing way to buyers.

At Spirit Design we make sure to apply the design principles in a way that matches your style and aesthetic. We never want to impose our personal preferences and always want you to feel connected to the space through the whole process.

Interior designer and decorator are often used interchangeably but they are different. As an interior decorator I focus solely on finishes, furnishings, lighting and other visual components. However, I will be happy to work in tandem with contractors, architects and electricians to make sure all of your needs are covered.
